I like it Ed. If we pass on Johnson if he's available in Round 3, I'll be pissed.

good post Ed. I like almost all your reasoning. The only difference that I would pick is in round 4, I believe it was, where you took a wide receiver. I think that Justin Gage might still be available at that time and I think that he has the ability to step in on day one and help. Not be a 2-3 yr. project.

I don't think we'll pass in 3 but i can't see this team using a #2 on a center with the defense in this state.
If we took Johnson or Faine in 2, I don't think anyone would complain too much though.

Ed, I wouldn't mind nabbing Trufant there, but if Leftwich is available (assuming he is healthy and has a decent workout) I want us to draft him. Possible star CB v Possible star QB...there is no comparison.

Bigbird, who did you pick in round 1? Rien Long in round 2 doesn't thrill me.

I was thinking the same thing.
I would be seriously disappointed if we even selected him....he was terrible at the combine and should slip big time.

Not sure where you got your information from but I read on a website that Rein Long was stiff and rescheduled his campus workout for Mar 28th. He is a hustler on the field and I doubt he will fall out of the first round. I thought he was the best value in the 2nd round plus he will team up w/Wendell hopefully to form a good young DT tandem.

Terrible at the combine but excellent on the field. Therein lies the conundrum!

I'm not sure why but that word always makes me laugh.
