Mar. 25—GRAND FORKS — Eight UND women's basketball players are listed in the NCAA Transfer Portal on the portal's opening Tuesday morning.
Players such as Grand Forks' Jocelyn Schiller and leading scorer Kiera Pemberton had previously publicly announced intentions for the portal. Summit League Defensive Player of the Year Fatima Ibrahim, however, is also listed in the portal.
Seven of UND's top nine scorers from last season are in the portal.
The only two players from the regular rotation not listed in the portal are Walker Demers and Mikayla Aumer.
The players in the portal so far are Schiller, Ibrahim, Pemberton, Kiyah Hurst, Jayla Owen, Rakiyah Beal, Nevaeh Ferrara Horne and Paris Bass.
UND head coach Mallory Bernhard resigned Monday and Dennis Hutter has taken over as head coach.
