Sike! We were roughing up the midget before we were down. Osorio, Refs are to blame for it being a blowout though.

Only Argy I don't hate is Batistuta. What a beast he was!

You roughed him up as a strategy because you couldn't win. Simple. :)

Midget is an offensive term, no matter who you are directing it too.

Refs are to blame. LOL!

Another fine display of Chaplins selective reading there. Pay attention and try reading sentences thoroughly, please. :)

Messi is a great player, without a doubt. I am more impressed with Xavi's all-around game though. Amazing at keeping possession, creating for self/others, and finishing, as we saw today.

Hmm, you said refs are to blame. You called Messi a "midget". And you talked about roughing him up, whether you were down goals or not.

I'd say both my last posts are right on the money.

I was talking about this part of your posts, smart guy.
Refs are to blame. LOL!

I said OSORIO (Then Mexican Defender) AND the refs were responsible for it (Mex-Arg in WC) being a blow out win for the Argies bc after Osorio's slip up and Tevez' 10yds offside goal, it was still very much so a competitive match.

Refs in football are pretty poor, I think we agree there, but I have a hard time swallowing that as a reason for a loss, especially at the international level.

Now if it was someone swiping at a ball to prevent a goal with their hand, that's another story. But the complaining about refs is the same tired American excuse.

I know it was a draw, but damn Madrid was lucky to get it. They got dominated in possession.
