Ellington and Arians Article

if you inserted ellington as the "starter" he would be in the ROY discussions with honey badger.

How could would it be to have OROY and DROY?

Reminds me of the opposite of Whis actually. Edge was playing poorly during our magical year and Whiz yanked him, only to play him again in the playoffs. Only difference is that BA is sticking with his back, because he knows he's going to need him late in the year. Maybe he just feels a little skittish about playing 2 rooks heavily late in an NFL season. It's not a crime. And frankly Ellington's getting some good touches for being a rook. He's certainly getting more than Charles and some of the other backs did as rookies. I'd definitely love to see him around 20 or 25 touches but I don't know how realistic that is late in an NFL season. If we somehow make the playoffs, I'd bet his carries skyrocket.

Agreed and well said. I bet Arians learned that lesson from watching Mike Tomlin run fast Willie Parker's wheels off. Arians doesn't want to repeat that mistake. There are a lot of carries left in this season and the last thing we want to do is to run Ellington's wheels off.
