Ellington limited in practice with foot injury

Just received an ESPN alert that Ellington was limited today due to a foot injury. Has the foot been bothering him, or did this happen today? Anyone know?

Today was the only "hitting" day of practice this week. They probably just didn't want Ellington out there getting tackled and risk injury before the opener. No point.

Jurecki adds that Ellington went for an MRI on Thursday as well, which may just be about an abundance of that aforementioned caution but it’s never a great development when your starting running back needs to have tests done on either of his feet.

It says he aggravated his foot during practice, not that he injured his foot and than practiced.

Losing Ellington could be devastating. Foot injuries tend to linger as well.

This isn't good. Jurecki used similar phrasing when he first broke the news about D-Wash. I hope it's not as bad as I fear it is.
