POSITION NUMBER: FTB880-1

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree required. Previous experience at the collegiate level in coaching and/or recruiting student-athletes preferred. Working knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations. Solid administrative and interpersonal skills.

DUTIES INCLUDE: Under the direction of the Athletics Director, oversees the recruitment of prospective student-athletes and the physical and technical training of student-athletes; Analyzes performance and instructs collegiate athletes in strategies and techniques to prepare them for athletic competition. Follows University, SEC, NCAA and Association guidelines and policies. Responsible for directing team travel arrangements, scheduling practices and coordinating meets.Responsible for the annual budget for the Football program. Must demonstrate a knowledge and commitment to NCAA rules, as well as a commitment to the student-athlete’s academic and athletic success. Directly supervises nine assistance coaches.
