Entertaining... But certainly nothing special.

Just curious, are you an Ender's Game fan or is it an introduction for you. I can't imagine it holds up to the book (or the series of books) but I'm wondering if it's a treat for long-time fans or if will it be a disappointment to those of us that loved Orson Scott Card's world.

No desire to see this trash by a bigot that donates his proceeds to denying me equality.

I never read the books. I have a feeling though that if I had I probably would have hated it. Much Like I hated the first Hunger Games movie and not to sure if I'll even bother with the 2nd with how bad they butchered the first.

Understood. I'm probably not going to see the second Hunger Games movie either.

I liked it. I felt like this would be a difficult book to pull off as a movie since the real struggle is internalized by Ender in the novel. It was also rushed, I think they could have shown a little more of the battle room because that was always the coolest part of the book.

I read the book and think it was a very good movie, and as faithful really to the book as they could be. Sure, I missed stuff and storylines from the book, but it's only a one-off movie. No time for everything.

This book was AWESOME.

I don't know how they can do it as a movie, and I haven't been impressed by the trailers.

My daughter (read the book) really wants to go. I'm on the ledge.
