If you are a sports fan of anykind and didn't appreciate that Epic game last night and aren't pumped for tonights game...then you must not have a pulse. Even if your not a fan of the Cardinals or the Rangers last night was the single best game after the 6th inning in World Series history....it's not how they start it is how they finish...and finish they did....WOW!!!! GO CARDS!!!

Nelson Cruz blew that game with that pathetic attempt at catching the ball at the warning track. It was not a routine fly, but one that should have been made especially considering the circumstances.

I don't really care who wins, but that was a great game. To come within a strike of winning the World Series, twice, and to fail both times... I'd hate to be a Rangers fan if they don't win tonight. And two years in a row too, after waiting half a century just the get the opportunity.

Awesome game, definitely.

I am rooting for a good game and for the Rangers to win.

Here is the distinction I think many people are missing on this game. It was one of if not the most entertaining games ever. It was in no ways the best game ever. Way too many mistakes both on and off the field for it to be considered among the greatest games. Entertainment-wise I can't think of many that were better.

Why does Selig need to be reading off a paper? Is this really that hard?

That sums it up perfectly. And even die-hard fans, whether going to a ball game or concert or watching them at home, are paying to be entertained.

To quote the manchild, Mark Grace, it was not big league. It made him look like he should consider retirement.

I wonder if Joe Torre would be in the running as Bud Light's successor.
IMO he would be a great choice. Has the right demeanor and is respected by everybody. However, he may be too old and the owners likely will want someone who will be able to serve in the position for a longer period than Joe would be able to.
