You likely didnt notice him but he alwasy been out there. I have read even before this year he is known as a "mouth piece" in the locker room and his mouth supercedes his actual perfomranc. Always does radio down here in Miami and is a gregarious guy.

I was happy with him. And I like he views himself as a team leader

Interesting. I thought you had to be as big as Manning or Brady to get a phot expose of you eating with your family or helping with the kids homework. His people do a great job of getting him out there.

I've heard Winston on NFL radio for years when he was with Houston. He's always seemed like a good guy that has his (massive) head on straight.

Cbus, what kind of contract do you think he is worth? With a house in Houston and a new coach maybe they make a run at him for the home town discount.

Winston has always been a talker.

I actually was happy about how relatively quiet he was while playing for the Cardinals last year.

The best way to sum up Eric Winston's worth, IMO, is: Eric Winston is to the right tackle position what Daryn College is to the right guard position. A very average, but acceptable player at this position.

The thing with both Winston and College is I would not advise to pay them big money to play either position.

I have no problem with Eric Winston at right tackle, but if he wants too much money, then I have no problem with taking the slight risk of putting Bobby Massie out there.

Same goes for Daryn College and Paul Fanaika.

Winston made 1.25m last year. I would love to bring him back at the same salary. I might go as high as 2.5m for him. Any more than that and I think he is out of budget.

I would love the Cardinals to resign Winston. May not be a pro-bowler, but he consitant and is a great team player.

I hope the Cards could sign him to a similar deal as last year. They may be even to get him a bit cheaper with a multi-year offer as long as there is some kind of bonus involved.
is it just me or does anyone else think he looks like shrek??

I'm pretty sure that's his nickname.

May not be the only garage in the house. My neighbor has both a 1 car (full of crap) and a 2 car, which is completely empty, except for he and his wife's car. (Hmm, seems I suffer from garage envy.) :)

Go Cards!!!

Those bastards wasting all of that space!
