Escape Plan (previously known as "The Tomb")

Action superstars Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger team up in the action-thriller "Escape Plan." Ray Breslin (Stallone), the world's foremost authority on structural security, agrees to take on one last job: breaking out of an ultra-secret, high-tech facility called 'The Tomb.' But when he is wrongly imprisoned, he must recruit fellow inmate Emil Rottmayer (Schwarzenegger) to help devise a daring, nearly impossible plan to escape from the most protected and fortified prison ever built.

Schwarzenegger actually plays a German/Austrian! I wonder if looking back if he's ever played someone that actually has a German name, rather than just inferring he's "foreign", which actually happens much less than you'd think.

Either way, I'll be seeing this. Love old 80s throwback action movies. This is like Lock Up 2: Electric Boogaloo!

i'll never understand how Lock Up was such a throwaway bomb. Stallone was great in it and Donald Sutherland was a really good bad guy.

Liked it a lot. You can just tell that Schwarzenegger is almost fully back into his groove, he was easily the best part of the movie. Time for him to get a few more blockbusters under his belt before he leaves us. He even has a well-acted scene where he is ranting in German!

Old-fashioned action movie that is in no way a great film, but an entertaining popcorn movie.

Really enjoyed it. Only issue I had with it were the numerous times that Sly was asking Arnold to do something difficult. Arny would say "no Fing way!", then Sly says something like "aww, come on...", and the reply was, in a very abrupt turnaround, "OK I'm in". I think a variant of this happened 3 times. lol.

Arnold knew that Stallone was there for a specific reason and there was no way that he wasn't going to go along with an escape plan.

Arnold was the one that orchestrated Stallone to get into the prison, after all. Just to help Arnold escape. A nice twist.

I recently watched it. Man I miss my 80's action films. Loved watching these guys on screen together. Fun movie.

One of my favorite Stallone films. Watched it many times growing up.
