Was this a recent thing?

If so, that's basically a list of all the rookies that made some sort of contribution last year (at least, mostly)...

He must be counting on Casey Jacobsen to improve an awful lot. There's no way anybody in their right mind would take him before Carlos Boozer now. I was going to wait until things slow down a little bit this summer to do some threads about doing the last several drafts over.

1. Yao Ming
2. Amare Stoudemire
3. Nay Nay Gloria (that's voice-recognition software for "Nene Hilario")
4. Drew Gooden (I believe he would have been ROY if he played for Orlando the whole year)
5. Caron Butler
6. Nenad Kristic
7. Tayshaun Prince
8. Carlos Boozer

I don't feel like going any further right now.

BTW, Andy Katz has Casey Jacobsen at #9.

I'm still way high on Casey. How many shooting guards come straight into the NBA and flourish? Casey was extremely inconsistent, but he showed the ability to put the ball on the floor and get to the line.

His release will have to improve. That hitch he has at the line is god-awful. But, that's easy to fix, relatively speaking.

His range and ability to put the ball in the hole will only improve. And, that's a rare commodity in the NBA these days.

For Rookies - I believe there was only 7 rookies with as many 3pters that had better 3pt percentage and in league looking at stats about 60-70 players in whole league. Being he only played 16 min a game and was Rookie. He's not a great shooter but he lead Suns team in 3pt made/48 min I believe, a role player that can spread court - 1 reason I'm not as high on Cabarkapa though is 2 defensive liabilities on court on 2nd team but Cabarkapa sounds more and more like a 6'11 Joe Johnson skill-wise minus defense.
