Precisely.
If I had to guess, I'd suspect that comments from the Cardinals - that one option available to A-Dub would be to forego surgery in favor of less-invasive therapy that would allow him to gut out the season - may have been interpreted by Clayton as meaning that "things might not be so serious." Or perhaps the actual meaning behind Clayton's remarks may have been overly-condensed "Twitter-style" to foster the wrong impression.
In terms of what the actual known facts are: (1) MRI results still aren't in so (2) we still don't know what A-Dub's actual condition is and (3) he may (or may not) consider the option of foregoing surgery and playing despite the injury.
The "win-at-all-cost" fan in me feels hopeful that, one way or another, he'll be out on the field trying to help us win. The "what's-best-for-A-Dub" fan in me is fearful that (a) he might risk further serious injury by playing or (b) as good as he is - a partially-healthy A-Dub may not be as good as a 100%-healthy Rashad Johnson.
I, therefore, at this point in time, do not feel "relieved."
