I think they took each team and made a short list of players that team would like and in what order they would like the most. It's like a contingency list in a fantasy basketball draft.

They had the teams listed in the current order.

I had a hard time and could not copy and paste this, it comes up in
a seperate window.

I will go back and get the names soon.

I always ignore the team listings at this part of the season. My main interest is looking at the similarities and differences between the drafts.

BTW, I couldn't get the code to work here, so I created an ASFN page that will be a new topic.

I tried it a few times. It looks like Ford has the Suns taking Howard at #1, Andriuskevicius at #3, then Podkolzine, with Ben Gordon if all three are gone.

Gordon and Harris seem to occupy the same draft position in every mock, and it might be the same story with Childress and Biedrins. If that's the case, this draft isn't really that sophisticated--the only names that change are the top seven and the bottom two or three.

I guess the Clippers' scouts have showed some kind of preference for Andriuskevicius (which would be a pretty good reason for A-k to stay out of the draft this year), but it's hard for me to believe they wouldn't take Ben Gordon if he's available. They like to have a player in his rookie contract at every position, and they just took a center (Kaman) last year to fill Olowokandi's shoes, while PG Keyon Dooling is gone after this season.

If the Clippers think they can get Kobe, they're going to need to compete next year, so they'll need a PG, either from the draft or as a very cheap free agent.

To top it off, Gordon (and to a lesser extent, Devin Harris) is the kind of PG the Clippers have already shown a preference for--he's big, athletic and can score at will. Remember, the Clips were obsessed with the possibility of getting Baron Davis when he was in the draft, and Dooling is a similar type of player except that he sucks. The Clips passed up TJ Ford and Hinrich last year, and IMO the reason was that neither PG fit the team's vision.

JMHO, of course.
