DIVISION FINISH: 3 The Cardinals won nine games in the 2008 regular season, and I see them winning seven to nine games again this season. But I don't see lightning striking twice.
Ehhh....except for Mark Schlereth, everyone on the ESPN staff took it personally that the Cards made it to the Superbowl. I try not to watch NFL analysis on that channel anymore. If I ever see Trey Wingo in a dark alley.....
The only ESPN beat writer who ate crow is Jeff Chadiha. Every playoff game, he said we had a ghost's chance in hell winning. After eating the extra helping of crow he deserved last season, he did a double take and is now pimping the Cards as a surprise team (even though we're only supposed to win 9 games again this season according to him). I really like Pat Yasinskas on this article, who stated that last season was "no fluke." Thank you Pat.
Why do they always point out that the Cardinals went 9-7 in a weak division? What does the division have to do with anything when they went 6-0?

I wonder if Holmes had missed that "catch" and we won the Super Bowl, would they still talk about us like this?
Some guy has us 4th.
That guy is an idiot. He's got the Cowboys winning the NFC East and going to the Superbowl. He has the Bengals and Raiders finishing 2nd, and the Titans last.I stress the SHAM in Whickersham! What "Breaks" is that douche talking about?
Also don't forget Miami had a great season, Buffalo had a first place record before we beat them then they collapsed, and the same can be said for Dallas as well.
Miami didn't learn to win until we kicked the snot out of them.
Buffalo was good enough to beat Seattle, St. Louis, Oakland, and Jacksonville until AW put Trent Edwards on his back.
Dallas was really the only win to write home about.
Don't mean to be Debbie Downer, just pointing out why critics are saying what they are saying.
