ESPN Rates the best AzCardinal ever

You have got to be kidding me. Boston was one of the biggest wasted talents ever in the hostory of the NFL. He makes lists like Richard Dumas with the Suns. He is lucky he isn't dead. Boston's name should be nowhere near a best of list. To mention him with these names is almost offensive. David can wait in line, long after players like JJ McCleskey and Gary Clark.

Agree on wasted talent. Dunno about him dying though - his chemist seemed pretty smart

I cant paste html tables? anyway 1 int and 1 sack in 4 years straddling the playoff year - and I dont remember him. OK - funny - the other guy may have played in the nfl for us - but it musta been weeks...he doesn't have a player profile.

Jake isn't in the top 10. When everyone told Warner he couldn't do it, he kept trying. When Shanahan told Jake he couldn't do it, Jake quit. I like Jake, but he was far from the Cards best player.

My theme is impact, longevity, and success. Plummer isn't on my list my list because he never had any great seasons with the Cardinals. The 1998 team carried Jake, who made a litany of mistakes that year.

I can't believe that Moore or Sanders didn't get mentions. Both were very good receivers for us, as was Eric Hill in the middle. When Eric Swann played, he was our Larry Fitzgerald of the defensive line. I've never seen a more dominate interior lineman, and the only opponent who could stop him were injuries.

Pat Tillman does not make my list. He was a special teamer, and a below average starting safety. His impact on the field was marginal and he doesn't get any extra credit for joining the Army (like millions of other Americans, myself included).

edit: Added Darnell Dockett, but didn't want to remove anyone. I thought about removing Eric Hill, but they were times that he was dominate in the middle. Also Dansby deserves a spot on this list, but he doesn't have the longevity yet, or a single season that warrants his inclusion.
