Decision Day For Pryzbilla
Jul 4 - According to The Oregonian, Joel Przybilla is expected to make a decision where he will play today and it appears to be between Detroit, Portland and San Antonio.Blazers President Steve Patterson told The Oregonian late Monday that the Blazers have proposed several offers to Przybilla, including an estimated five-year, $31 million contract and have explored scenarios in which the team would give a one-year contract, with the option of signing for a more lucrative, long-term deal next season. The San Antonio Express-News reports the Spurs have been hesitant to extend any offer to the maximum five years.
"San Antonio's right up there, but I think Detroit is probably a better fit for Joel," Bill Duffy, Przybilla's agent told the newspaper. "It will be a good challenge for him. But, again, it's going to be Joel's decision."

Harrington eyes Warriors, Pacers
Jul 4 - The San Francisco Chronicle reports Al Harrington has identified Golden State and Indiana as teams for which he would like to play next season."The Warriors are definitely a viable option," Harrington's agent, Andy Miller told the newspaper. "It's a destination someone would be comfortable calling home -- dealing with a young team, obviously a very stable executive group and organization."
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports the Hawks have been in discussions with several teams, most prominently Indiana and Golden State, about a potential sign-and-trade deal involving Harrington.
"I have a genuine interest in both of those teams," Harrington told the newspaper. "My only focus is getting back to the playoffs and eventually competing for a championship. I thought we were getting better and heading in that direction in Atlanta, but sometimes it's time to move on."

James Taking His Time
Jul 4 - The Dallas Morning News reports the Mavericks expect to wait until perhaps next week for an answer from free agent Mike James. According to the newspaper they have offered James three years starting at the $5 million mid-level exception.Bill Duffy told the Fort Worth Star-Telegram that because all the teams pursuing James are over the salary cap, a sign-and-trade scenario is a possibility. According to the newspaper the Mavs are willing to offer Marquis Daniels in such a deal, but the Raptors might not want Daniels and the $26.46 million remaining on his contract.
The Toronto Star reports that James is meeting with officials from Minnesota today, but if he is to become a member of the Timberwolves, the Raptors aren't going to facilitate the move in a sign-and-trade transaction.
