Through Cox or just DirectTV/Dish?

I haven't heard that we (Cox) are getting a new channel.

For HD channels, I agree. When you live in an apartment complex that wants you to have a $10,000 insurance policy on a freaking satellite dish, you have no choice. Plan on moving to a house this year.

Overall it is a good complex. That part sucks though. It looks like in my new place I will have Cox internet and DirectTV.

Well, it's independent of provider...ESPN is coming out with the station, just depends on whether COX will pick it up.

I heard DTV will show it the day it's released.

The internet speeds/reliability can't be matched though.

At first I thought, "who needs ESPNEWS in HD?". Then I looked at the screens. :thud:

Cox is getting a bunch (8 or something) HD channels in late March, IIRC. I got an email about it.

Seinfeld in HD is very blurry. :)

Yesterday I thought my new HDTV was broken. Picture of the Big East Tourney was all blue and yellow. Turns out the cleaning lady accidently disconnected the red cable.

oooh, goodie. Golf channel in HD...:sarcasm:

You are right. The four majors are on NBC anyway.

If you havent watched the final day of a major in HD, you are missing out. Seriously.

The day I actually watch golf is the day I need to be committed because I am apparently suicidal.

:yeahthat:

Linder, on April 13th (Sunday) sometime between 11:30am and 4pm you need to flip on CBS and watch part of the Masters. Augusta National in HD is one of the most beautiful places you will ever see. Even if you don't watch it for the golf, you need to still take a look. If there is heaven on earth, it is Amen Corner at Augusta National.

*I play golf for a living so I am definitely partial, but I am fairly confident that if you watched for 5-10 min you would be AMAZED at the beauty.
