He does it again! Charlie Kaufman will undoubtedly go down as our generations greatest screenwriter. Three films, three amazingly original successes. I only wish there was more creativity like this going on in Hollywood.

Jim Carrey - brilliant. Kate Winslet - brilliant. Screenplay - BRILLIANT. Cinematography - brooding cold and dark. Fits the movie very well. I cant find one bad thing to say about this film.

I want to see this SO BAD, but my wife is leary of it for some reason...I think it looks awesome, and Carrey in dramatic roles is way better than Carrey in comedic roles lately.

Excellent - glad to hear it. I've been wanting to see it and I plan to as soon as I can get off my back!

Is no one seeing this?

If not, why? All you folks clamoring for originality in Hollywood need to check this film out. Its utterly wonderful. I'm honestly surprised that this film isnt getting WAY more buzz.

Man, I can't belive he-who-thinks-he-is-Webster didn't BIM you.

Mike, unless your wife's first name is "Denis", she was "leery."

Sorry, I ususally don't do that - but when HE misses one, even quoting you and missing it, I have to point it out & give it back to him.

Actually, Mike pulled out his "Good for one free typo" card in that round.

What game are you playing? :D

Great flick - watched it last night. This is my favorite so far of his movies - he really trusts the audience to follow along - it's not dumbed down or contrived.

Also - if you liked the movie and you get the time read the poem that this movie came from - Eloisa to Abelard by Alexander Pope. If you print it, it's about seven pages long. If you want to skip to the line "Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind!" - that is found in stanza 14.

I also thought this movie was terrific. Even though I still like Adaptation better, Eternal Sunshine certainly was a great movie.

Finally saw this on Friday night. Absolutely incredible movie. I didn't really care for the direction but it fit the script pretty well. Jim Carrey did a great job - and I'm not a fan of his at all. Kate Winslet was excellent too. Charlie Kauman is definitely one of the most talented screenwriters working right now.

FINALLY saw this flick last night...took forever for it to come out on DVD...

Absolutely loved it...Carrey is so good in roles like this, and Winslet was perfect.

Was hard to follow at the beginning, but luckily I have my wife who usually knows what's going on. However, once it got going, it was pretty obvious what was happening, and how the beginning was really the end, etc.

Such a unique way of looking at a relationship...I really liked this movie.

Just saw this one over the weekend. Really, really good flick. Made me really sad for some reason.

Aside from the great preformances that were mentioned already, I thought the guy who played the head technician did a good job, too.

But, the only thing that detracted from the film for me was Kirsten Dunst. I'd be no worse for wear if she never appeared in another film (tho' if she does, she should jump around in her underwear, as she did in this one).

One of those movies some love some really hate. We loved it. Cepting Kirsten Dumbpst, who is turrible in everything cepting the Vampire show when she was little.
