If they stop making horrible "B" movies that nobody cares about and put that budget towards their shows, Eureka would probably have a much larger shelf life. Seriously, I don't know a single person that finds the SyFy originals appealing or noteworthy for the most part. Save your freaking money and keep your TV's shows going.

SyFy is turning into Fox part 2 with the treatment of their shows.

I doubt it. I can't imagine they're spending more than a couple hundred bucks per movie. I still like some SyFy shows but at one time, this was my first stop when I channel flipped and now it's somewhere near the last. I think the network is happy with their pseudo-reality shows and wrestling and the last thing they want to do is spend real money on Sci-Fi.

I wish that were true but they use a ton of craptastic CGI and shoot alot of set pieces. I bet if you added all the money they have spent on their craptastic "B" movies, they could have funded BSG & Eureka for the next 5 years and still made some crap movies to boot.

I'm really bummed that this show is in its last season. It's just such good light scifi fare. It really found it's "voice" (for lack of a better term) early on and stayed true to it.

Couldn't agree with you more. It's simply a fun show to watch week in and week out. Sucks it's ending.

Also, I will miss this.

I think that's the third time during it's run that they've displayed Allison that way. She looks just as good now in her mid 40's as she did when the series started. I still love the show and I've always thought their weird schedule has made it tougher to find and keep an audience.

I was bummed before this season started, but I'm now heartily glad that it's ending. It has totally run its course and is now pretty blah. They did too much rebooting to stay relevant.
