The only thing I've read about Green and the draft is, "we are going to get a blue chip player". Last year, Green was telling everyone he liked Fitz and he was going to get him. He did as we all know and the media wondered why he didn't take a QB in the first round. This year I think he will. RB is a major issue so he will get one of those as well. Both of our lines need help too, thank god for FA.

1. A qb. Rogers or Lienart, depends If they are gone, look for a trade down. We can trade down and then pick up 2 first rounders.

2. a RB. whoever Green thinks is quick enough to hit the holes, but don't count on Clarett. Even Green isn't this chancy.

3. O-Line!

Figuring last year we drafted offense first, this year should be defense. So it throws my pics out the window.

People have to want to move up to trade down for 2 picks and I don't see that happening. Plus it's not a great draft, trading down might mean picks like Pace and BJ again.

I hope your're right! A blue chipper is hard to find and in the lower round is even harder. As many bust as there is in the NFL, this draft might turn out to be a good one.

With total unabashed bias

#1 Antrell Rolle CB/S/PR U of Miami

#1a If a trade down occurs Heath Miller TE Virginia

#2 Vernand Morency RB Okie State

#3 Matt Jones TE if trade down in 1st round doesn't occur.

#4 Stephan LeFlors QB U of Louisville

Offense, offense, offense, offense, offense...........

 Thus far. I don't know if my opinions will change, but this looks pretty good, except it may be early for LeFlors...sub in a different QB for me.

Can you imagine a Jake Plummer without the confusion and an accurate arm? LeFlors is that plus some more. He is the" not so poor" man's version of Vick. He is a big Flutie. The guy is extrememly dangerous and by the time a team gets to the 4th round, it is a crapshoot. The difference between LeFlors and most is that he never seems to make a bad throw. Hugely accurate, makes long throws very well, runs under control and reads defenses.

No intercepts.

does anyone (other than the chargers) have two firsts in this draft? i doubt chargers would trade theirs and giants for our slot.

Grab Antrell Rolle with our first pick and move him to free safety. The next Sean Taylor.

again, i'd be really surprised to see the cowboys give up the 20 pick just to move up 3 slots.

You are correct. He may only be 6-0 But he is a very good QB. I watched three Louisville games in 2004, and he was very impressive in all of them.

It is not likely unless Parcells and Jerry Jones want a specific player real bad that has fallen to that spot. Let's say Matt Leinart was to fall to #8 and they saw him as there future at QB. Then they might go for it. You are most likely correct though. It would take a lot to make that trade.

But would we actually trade away a shot at Leinart? 3 years in a row needing a QB and not taking one?

Plus Dallas has Drew Henson who despite his play this year people say Parcells is extremely high on Henson. He was smart enough to realize if he played him too quickly it would do him no good and possibly some harm so he limited his play. May even send him to NFL europe I read, but he still thinks Drew is going to be a good QB.

With all the problems the Raiders have had with Woodson and are having with Buchanan, I'm beginning to wonder if he doesn't go at number 7 to them.

If Leinart fell to #8 I think Denny would take him. I was just using Leinart as an example. As far as Henson, I saw very little of him this year. I usually don't watch many Cowgirl games if any.

Not even the Thanksgiving game? I didn't know it was legal to not watch football on Thanksgiving. :)

That was Drew's only start, he played lousy for one half, got pulled and Vinnie pulled out the game.

I did watch some of the thanksgiving game and I watched them play the Redskins. The little bit that I saw of him must have been the thanksgiving game then.

I'm also on the Matt Leinart bandwagon if he's available. As a matter of fact, if we pass on Leinart I will boycott both preseason games and sneak flasks in to all regular season games as to punish the Bidwill family financially by not spending money on booze for the eight games.

My late round picks go something like this: Adrian McPherson, Chad Owens, Will Derting, Darian Durant, Dan Orlovsky.

I meant, if a team were to want our spot at #8, we would get their no.1, and their 2nd round pick. Happens all the time.

My bad. we would get 2 2nd rounders and a late no.1, sorry. Paint chips too close to the wall.
