Jackson was apparently happier getting blown out last year, yet putting up personal career best numbers. As opposed to playing competitive football as a team and matching last years win total by week 9.

Loser. Loser, loser, loser. Good riddance.

Let's wait and see if he plays in Tampa Bay. Jackson is currently listed as third string.

Asked to be more specific, Jackson said, "just watch the games. You’ll see. I wouldn’t want to put him out like that. I have to wait to get better first."

I have been watching the games and I don't care if Green comes into the lockerroom with brown shirts that beat anyone, who doesn't kneel in reverence, with rubber hoses. We are a real NFL team now. So Dexter, I have watched the games and you are right I do see. Results, and to me thats all that matters.

We don't know what goes on behind closed doors. It just might be that Dexter disagreed with the coach. Then the coach must say good bye not I'm sorry Dexter can I be nice to you next time. That's not how it works. To bad, I liked him, But now I don't respect him. As for where the coach stands or who he stands with makes no difference. He has his way of managing that hours worth of play. Some people need space others don't. He talks with all of them through the head piece.

He has coaches that get close. He is the coache's boss. Most head coaches really don't have time for the individual needs of a rich football player. He oversees the way he wants them to prepare each week and how they perform. He must have very high expectations. To some that may seem mean.I remember him saying at the very beggining there would be players that get cut because they don't want to be here with talant. Dexter is one of them, so was Kendall.

Jurecki, this morning said that Dex had expressed this to him and that there are several in the locker room still that feel this way. They won't come out and say it but have expressed it to him. They don't want to lose living in there big houses and driving there nice cars according to him. I think they will be weeded out. It goes without saying that several won't buy into DG my way or the hiway act but this team will win more games. I wish Dex would have bought in, he was about the only good spot from last year but if he doesn't want to be here because of the new coaches plan. SEE Ya, who needs Ya. Glad he is gone and hope the others go by next year.

I agree, he's not healthy yet apparently so Green didn't run off a healthy player, but he played his ass off for us last year and Green didn't show him any respect or loyalty in return so I think he has a right to be angry with Green.

he's gone, can't go back now and change anything.

It's Greens my way or the highway attitude - no room but for complete compliance in all reguards.

That said once you go through the initial scrutiny I do think he's loyal to his players if they show loyalty first. Just a guess here.

Green's rep in Minnesota was that he was a "player's" coach. Now, here, he's a scary tyrant? The stench and rot of losing has totally saturated this franchise. Only drastic surgery could change it. Trying to be the player's best pal right off the bat would've doomed Green in Arizona.

When McGinnis said goodbye to the team last year, Kendall was freaking rubbing his shoulders and patting him on the back while he cried. (Per NFL films 2003 Yearbook) Obviously, they loved him and were comfortable with him. And, that got us last in the NFL in points scored and allowed.

Anyone catch the Green post game speech he gave to his team after Sunday's win versus the Giants? Unless there is some major acting going on it sure looked and sounded like a team who was ready to kick some royal ass the rest of the season. Lots of damn rights and high fives when General Green gave the speech.

I love Dennis Green. This guy builds winners. He is arrogant and can be an ass, but he is paid to put a winner on the field and he is earning his money. I almost got sick when McGinnis gave that speech at the end of the year when he said that no one "knows what we have here in Arizona". You know what Dave you are absolutely right, nobody knoew and nobody cared because you put crap out there game after game. Maybe the guys had a bunch of love for McGinnis but they sucked on the field and in this business that isn't getting the job done. The guys loved Mac and then went out and got whipped 50-14 to the 49ers. Players left in droves after the 2002 season even though McGinnis was supposed to be the guy everyone loved to play for.

Sounds like the egos and pride of both people clashed.

The bottom line is Green is in charge, get with the program or move on. There is no room for primadonnas when you are trying to turn around a franchise with a history of disappointment.

Dexter refused to swallow his pride and follow Green. In the end he got what he wanted, a ticket out of town.

uh, wilson was under contract and we TRADED for peppi and troy, they had no choice.

Peppi and Troy signed extensions, that was their choice. True it was negated, but it shows their willingness to stay here. Wilson has publically said he wants to remain after he becomes a free agent and not leave. I count all three as wanting to be here.

I know - I even felt stupid writing that - but sadly at this point - it's true - I'm not ready to proclaim this team a playoff contender yet.

I'm not so sure they are. But they are playing tougher and seem a whole heck of a lot more interested in playing. I see more fire on the sidelines than I have in years. How many other games did the team quit last year.

We are a ways off, but going the right direction

Any of those play on the o-line?

I do have to say he may be a tyrant, but he plays who he feels is best and is not afraid to bench a high paid player. By the same token, he wasn't afraid to let a doghouse player (Shelton) work his way back into the lineup. Flexible assessment of current performance is something we aren't used to see from coaches!!!

Every two or three months, Jurecki refers to veterans that roll their eyes around Jurecki. Jurecki seems to always attribute the eye-rolls to a dislike of Green.

I wonder if the players are rolling their eyes due to a dislike of Jurecki,
