The Chicago Bears have signed another former Atlanta Falcons player in free agency, agreeing to terms with veteran wide receiver Olamide Zaccheaus. The former undrafted free agent out of Virginia spent his first four NFL seasons with the Falcons. While he was never a star, Zaccheaus improved his statistical production each year in Atlanta.

The 27-year-old signed with the Philadelphia Eagles in 2023 but failed to find a consistent role. Last season, Zaccheaus reunited with former Falcons head coach Dan Quinn on the Washington Commanders and had a bounce-back year (45 catches, 506 receiving yards and three touchdowns).

Now, Zaccheaus joins a Bears squad that's been among the most active teams through the first week of NFL free agency. Chicago has signed three former Falcons players. First, they inked center Drew Dalman to a three-year, $42 million contract. A few hours later, Chicago signed defensive lineman Grady Jarrett to a three-year, $43.5 million.

Over six NFL seasons, Zaccheaus has recorded 149 catches, 1,998 receiving yards and 13 touchdowns. His best year came in 2022 when he finished with a career-high 533 receiving yards and three touchdowns for the Falcons.

Atlanta has re-signed several depth free agents but the team hasn't made any huge moves. The Falcons' most notable additions thus far have been edge Leonard Floyd and defensive lineman Morgan Fox. Stay up to date with each reported signing using our 2025 free agency tracker.
