I do now.

So did Ceballos stray outside of his "zone of popularity?" It makes me wonder.

Also, they apparently don't care who you are in California. Here's an older story about 74 year-old Lakers owner Jerry Buss getting trotted off to jail after drinking and driving:

I guess it's just the case that whatever clout and power you have as a sports figure doesn't count for much in California?

didn't mean to pile on with that post.

btw, blythe is on the 10 between phx and LA. you have to go through blythe to get to LA if driving (unless you go the southern route through SD which is much longer).

I just had a CC of mine rejected. When I called them, it was the anti-fraud division that put a hold on it. I had never used it, and all of a sudden, since I knew I had a zero balance, I tried to buy some concert tickets in Lake Tahoe. Maybe something like that happened to Ced on the CC end of things. I could see where anti fraud saw a charge in Blythe and thought, hey this is unusual, flag that!

Wasn't it Lake Havasu where Ced got busted before? Or was it he was there and missed a Suns game? Anyway, the dude obviously doesn't travel well and should stay close to home. ;)

that's actually a really good point. my brother once had his CC neg'ed in mammoth trying to buy a new snowboard b/c he had used it in phx and blythe in one day, in newport beach the next, and then in mammoth the next. the credit card rep told him that it is routine to flag and hold a card when it is moving around that frequently. i understand the reasoning, but how does one effectively take a trip that way? do we all have to inform our CC companies that we're going on vacation these days?

was that during the strike-shortened 80 game season?
no because the bulls were champs that year. I'm almost certain it was their 70 win team......which made the horrible mavs look special in that game.

I was just being an ass making fun of you for saying the bulls were 72-8 rather than 72-10. dumb joke.
