Excel issues

I am using Office 2002 on Windows XP & lately I keep getting an error when I save documents. The error reads

"The document was saved successfully, but Excel cannot re-open it because of a sharing violation. Please close the document and try to open it again."

Does anyone know how to fix this issue? Thanks

Use Open Office instead.....

Use Open Office instead.....

Open Office is crap for anything Excel related.

Tried that already. All the answers are for Office 2007 not 2002.

I agree. I ended getting the free trial of 2010. Works so far. Thanks.

All modules of Open Office work great for me, but then again, I don't import Excel files.
