I was taking in the game last night, watching some guys "flash" and I'm thinking...what a GREAT time to be a Cardinals' fan. When other fans talk football with you and you proudly say...I'm a Cardinals' fan...NO ONE raises the "Spock"-eyebrow or says, Seriously, dude!?!

So many variables go into a winning season but to be in the position that we're in right now? Pretty darn sweet!

Mark :)

Its amazing to me to see so many more band-wagoners around town/state now. I don't have issues with band-wagoners. Love seeing more flags, shirts, decals of the cards running around. Love it.

I know I have this before and I will say it again several more times, glad to be apart of this forum from owning it to being a member with so many hardcore fans!

Honestly, I was more confident going into last year. This year's teams has some serious issues at RT and ILB and if it doesn't improve, it will be a tough year.

But, yeah, the overall vibe in the city about the team is probably the best it's ever been in preseason.

I know makes it sweet we been waiting for so long and now we have a real team! Its a way diffrent reaction now, I think Arians and Keim being added were more important then even going to the Superowl, They have stacked this team

actually, as I see it, we are no worse off at right tackle this year than last, and only marginally weaker at ILB. I Spoon pans out, we are actually better than last year at ILB

As far as fan base I think you're right.

I agree about the RT position with the caveat that with Humphries on the team at least we have future potential of an upgrade.

We are worse of than last year at ILBer unless Minter is worthy of SK's praise and Spoon actually gets on the field.

Sure, RT is about the same as last year. Which is exactly the problem. With these three guys, I will be going into every damn game praying they don't get Palmer hurt again. And, it's getting real obvious that as Palmer goes, the Cardinals go this season.

Exactly. Before when you said you were a Cardinals fan, people would say "does Arizona even have a team?" It really felt that way because of how bad the Cards used to be. I swear if any media wanted to find a highlight, they would just go look for when they played the Cardinals and there would be one. Not so much anymore. Just like most of you here, I have been a Phoenix Cardinals ever since they got here

I don't think our RT position is great but I'm not frantic over it at this point either. Palmer went down last year because the tendon that blew out had reached it's expiration point, not because he got hit. His shoulder injury was because he tried to run over a defender for some extra yards when he scrambled. Hopefully he learned his lesson that as a 36 yr old QB he doesn't need to be a FB.

Palmer is tougher than we give him credit for and he can take a sack or ten and still be fine. Point is that at least one of those three will step up and be a more than solid starter at RT for us.

Don't hold out too hard for a time when you don't have any questions at all going into a season. You'll never have 22 All Pros lined up. Every team has weak spots, and our team thankfully has fewer than most for the first time.

Pretty stoked. I think the Cards are a top-4 team in the NFC. Unfortunately we could be a top-2 team and still not get home field.

Top 4 without a question, but all depends on guys staying healthy and how the OL does

Last week was the loudest preseason game I remember, until this week. Couldn't believe how many people were there. Had several SD fans even talking about how good we should be this year and how excited they were to see is make a run. Very surreal.

I have two concerns... not having Cro but Bethel who is not battle tested along with a new DC who has never had such a role, and I'm strangely confident in our offense lol

It's amazing that we are talking about two count them two positions. One of which should be fixed in three weeks. Oh it's great to be a Cardinals fan. Where ever we end up this year I'm feeling very optimistic.

I am kinda worried about more then 2--RT, LG, ILB (X2), CB, Punter and to a lesser extent Center (although at worst it stays the same as last year).

RT and LG will get better when Massie and Iupati return but not sure about the other positions.

Going to go to a few games this year and see the cards smoke the opponent
As long as palmer is healthy will be a fun ride this year
