Last I checked there are 10 other guys on special teams as well?

Yeah, but with all the supposedly great special teamers that we had last season on coverages (Hayes, Stone, Joe, R. Tate, Q. Harris, etc.), you think that we wouldn't have stunk so bad in that area of the game.

You guys prop these guys up like they're good, but they never really produced any big plays. If they had, we would have had a better special teams unit.

I always thought Sam was the strong side, which is the right side of the Defense. But I checked it and he plays on the same side as D. Brooks who is a Will LB.

SAM means strong side or side where the TE lines up. When we're playing a right handed QB the strong side will be the offensive right side (defensive left side) 90% of of all plays.
