I went out here to see the Seattle vs. Cardinals season finale. It was an awesome experience, and I wish I never left.

Imagine a place where the people were nice, a city you can actually drive through that is routed with some common sense, and doesn't smell like a hobo wrapped in old cheese. And all that fresh, crisp clean air.....who needs that when you can be in an atmosphere that feels like the inside of a gym sock that a dog pee'd on.

As for the fans base. The team has only been out there in the desert for 20 years, and played in a horrible college stadium for half of it. The organization has been beyond horrible for a long time, and as you pointed out the organization still was able to get a new beautiful stadium and start a growing fan base. Not to mention the hard core fans that have stay with the team through years that would make any normal Philly fan jump ship. As your city tries to throw out a coach and QB that has taken them to multiple post-seasons, the Arizona fans are enjoying what they appreciated as a rare treat, playoff football.

A new team with a brief history, that is finally starting to make its mark. Does it make sense to have a throw back from 20 years ago. I see alot of Aneas Williams jerseys, does that count ? It makes sense the Eagles have more throwbacks. I don't see how that makes the Eagles "better". Sure didn't help Sunday.

You see young fans (as you pointed out) that can actually go to the stadium and enjoy football with the rest of their family without worring about abrasive cursing, voilent drunken behavior, ridicule, and enjoy the civilized behavior of nice people. I will take old hippies, young excited fans, and ZZ top impersonators, over bitter, nasty, foul smelling drunks with a bad attitude, any day. The zoo atmosphere in Philly that makes you wonder if the local prison had a "go to a game" day. Let's not even mention the fact the tailgating scene in AZ, put the any Philly scene that I have been to, to shame.

I guess that is why I have lived in Eagles country more than half my life, and NEVER thought once about being an Eagles fan. I would not want to be associated with that fan base, and that scene. But, alas I understand. You are an Eagles fan so I am not surprise to read your bitter article, that you probably wrote while you were drunk, because your team lost......AGAIN!

As for the roof ? HAHAHAHAHAHA! It is called a home field advantage. There is no rule in the NFL that states when the roof should be open. The Cardinals kept it closed cause our QB likes it closed, and gives us the advantage. It lets the 70,000+ sound lounder. Why on earth would any AZ person care what an Eagles fan thinks about A. what our state of the art staduim looks like, and B. how it should be set up for game day. As for blaming the loss on the roof being closed.....well, you are a Philly fan so bitter excuses, whining, and complaining should be expected.

After watching the Eagles choke yet again in the NFC Championship game, your article was icing on the cake!

* The roof was closed because Warner prefers it closed. He wins more games when it's closed. Why would they open it? If this give the Cards an advantage, why not use it?

* Insulting Cardinals' fans looks is what we expect from the classless Eagle fans. Throwing ice balls at Santa Claus? Cheering when Michael Irvin laid motionless on your turff is what we expect from Eagles fans.

* I saw many throwback Cardinals jerseys at the game including Pat Tillman, Larry Center, Aneas Williams, Jake Plummer and more. The fact that you did not notice this makes me wonder how keen your observation skills are for being such a great reporter. Were you drinking during the game?

* Phillippi Sparks grew up in Arizona and played for the Sun Devils. He still lives in AZ as does Jordin Sparks. Do you now understand why Jordin was selected to sing the national anthem? Being a sports writer, Francis, I thought you would have figured that one out.

* Architect's Peter Eisenman stadium in Glenadale has been listed as one of the top 10 stadiums in the world according to Business Week. Look it up. In fact, you will find our stadium on many top 10 lists. You can have the Linc and your jail cells.

Most of the Eagles fans I saw at the game were pretty cool. You, however, Francis, are an example of why Philadelphia fans have such a horrible reputation.

Got a full time job and in school full time or I would have made a new one for every post season game.

Took quite some time to get the transition between the old logo and the new logo as smooth as it is. KOC's signature was slighly more difficult.
