Bryant McFadden

Maybe Al Davis has gone particularly crazy this week and is going to trade Darren McFadden.

I will take Darren or Bryant.

And throw in a side of Michael Bush

Seriously though. Bryant McFadden would help us tremendously. DRC, McFadden and Hood would be tough to throw against and the retention of Ralph Brown in a non-nickel capacity would make sure that Aaron Francisco never sees the field in pass coverage again.

I saw Olshansky signed w/ the Pokes for 4 yr / $18 MM. Sounds about right! Anyhow, does anyone know what happened to Mike Wright - FA DE (perfect 3-4 guy) formerly from the Patriots? I thought he visited and was looking in the $3-4 MM a year range. Seems like we should be able to get him done and at a reasonable price for a starting DE.

The interesting part is where those positions are. CB, OLB and edge pass rushing guy. Nothing on the O-line? The one thing keeping our defense from being dominant IMO is pressure off of the edge consistently. Are they planning on drafting early for it? And what is their plan to improve depth on the O-Line. We were very healthy last year, but O-line depth spooks me.

With as much cap space as we have.. and not having given Dansby a long term deal, i gotta say that this is a pretty disappointing list of players for a team who just went to the Superbowl.

That list has 3 guys who would start at best, at worst 2 starters, another (Berry) who would essentially split time, and a special teams player. These are the non-flashy sort of signings that are very valuable come December to an NFL team.

Chargers | LDT's days numbered?

Charean Williams, of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, speculates San Diego Chargers RB LaDainian Tomlinson has played his last game with the Chargers. According to Williams, the Arizona Cardinals or New Orleans Saints would appear to be perfect fits if he were to be traded or released.

Everyone remember I called it first.

James to the Chargers for the min. LT gets cuts and Sproles and Edge share duties. LT signs in AZ for the min and shared duties with Hightower. AZ win SB and Edge says that it was because of him they won and asks for a ring.

I've been drooling over this possibility since the season ended. LT, with Warner Fitz and Q for the defense to worry about - watch out!

1200 to 1500 yards.

He would rock for the Cards.

Stupid Football players and their stupid names.

Yeah, I messed that one up, too, lol. At least I got the position right. :)

I'm not on board with the "sign LT" team, mostly because I would like to see this team take a young stud running back in the draft (thought that might not work this year). Still, if it happens, I will make myself get on board. He is a great back.

Only if we trade middle round pick for him since he will also need a new contract. And that contract would need ways to get out from under it in 2 years IMO. A roster bonus in the third year?

With B-Mac in the fold, the other 2 FA's I hope the Cards target are OG Kendall Simmons & C Melvin Fowler. I would like to add Mike Wright & Leach which is more than possible with our cap situation. If we could get LT and extend Boldin I would give Graves an A++ for offseason grading purposes.

For my draft:
OLB - Clint Sintim
OLB/DE - Lawrence Sidbury
OT - Troy Kropog
RB - Ian Johnson
FS - Derek Pugues
QB - Mike Teel
TE - Anthony Hill
