Like this signing. Keim has had a solid offseason.
I think, seeing the salary under $2 million, that we don't lose any of our comp picks in 2022. Anyone know if that is true???
Or shatter an Arcadia door.We could do worse, I guess. I hope he doesn't break his hand answering the phone or something.
Solid smart signing which prevents nothing for us improving the position in the draft. A common sense, good move on the cheap... you have to like this unless you just want to bitch about something, seriously
It's like 1/6th the pay Drake is getting...
Cardinals give James Conner a one-year, $1.75 million contract
The Cardinals gave running back James Conner a one-year, $1.75 million contract, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.com. The deal includes a $500,000 signing bonus, and the entirety of the deal is fully guaranteed.
So when you add the signing bonus the real number is $1.75, correct?
Yes it's $1.75m. That's a very good deal.
Jamaal Williams got $3.
Fournette $3.25m.
Booker $2.75m (lol)
Hyde $2.25m
Hell even Samaje Perrine got $1.65m.
So it's a steal.
I'd still add another vet. There are lots of guys with experience and talent out there that could be had for vet min that would add something to this room.
Rex Burkhead, Brian Hill, McKinnon, Chris Thompson, D'onta Foreman, Wayne Gallman.
I want 3 solid backs going into the season.

The Steelers Twitterverse was really sad to see Conner go. There was a lot of love and respect shown when he signed this week. He was really well liked over there.
Hard to be upset with this. Generally a good practice to avoid heading into the draft with glaring and immediate needs.
If the Cardinals can now sign ONE MORE CB that can start and not embarrass them, then they can truly just draft the best player.
Yep he is still out there.Nelson still unsigned?
Nelson still unsigned?
Yes, I think he's likely to stay that way until after the draft when signings stop counting against your comp picks.
I'm surprised they haven't brought Kirkpatrick back. He's wasn't good last year but with a better defensive group and a year in the scheme already he can't get worse and he'd be under the $2m comp pick limit.
Brian Poole would be a good add also. Had an 80 coverage grade per PFF last year in a bad Jets defense and a 77.1 overall grade. 79 grade the year before too so it was no fluke. And only 28.

I want 3 solid backs going into the season. I think that's the way forward, especially with some concerns about Edmonds frame or Conners history. It doesn't stop us drafting anyone, these are all cuttable guys.
I wouldn’t mind adding Gallman.
