Witnesses: Tim Hightower Rescued from Camelback Mountain

PHOENIX - A couple who went for an evening hike on Camelback Mountain Thursday ended up needing some help, and the man who needed help is reportedly a former Cardinals player.
Witnesses called the Fox 10 newsroom to report that the man needing aid was Tim Hightower.
Hightower is now with the Redskins, and his wife is Krista Hightower.
The couple ended up hiking off-trail and getting lost, and then it became too dark for them to make it down.
The pair wasn't hurt, but the challenge for crews was climbing up there in the dark and bringing them down safely.
Phoenix firefighters aren't confirming or denying that the couple needing aid was the Hightowers.
However, rescuers drove an SUV up to the base of the mountain, and a man who looked like Hightower got inside. The woman he was with then got into the driver's seat and drove off

He had his phone with him at the time, but dropped it and lost it.

Hightower tries to take his wife on a safe hike in the Mountains and drops the ball.

Lol those are funny.

Glad him and his wife are ok. I'll never forget his screen up the middle to beat the Eagles in the NFC Championship. I was at that game and it's by FAR my greatest memory ever as a Cardinal fan. Hope he gets signed somewhere.

Is Hightower a free agent? I thought he signed a multi-year contract with the Redskins.

He will always be in the minds of Cards fans and remembered through one of the most exciting highlights in the history of the Cardinals. I miss seeing him on those quick screen passes from Warner.

F Hightower. He turned into an ungrateful baby after the trade. Maybe he should run as hard every game as he tried that game we played them.

Lost all respect for him.

I wouldn't mind having Hightower back behind Wells and Williams.
