Family Guy is awesome. It's one of those shows that you can just keep watching over and over because you probably don't catch all the little jokes the first few times. The scene where they make fun of jewelry commercials and the guy gives the girl the ring and it says "she'll pretty much have to" cracks me up.

How in the world did I miss this thread? Family Guy is freaking hillarious. I own all the episodes on DVD.

Favorite Episode: E Peterbus Unum (the one where the Griffin house becomes its own nation)

Favorite Quote (I was gonna use this as my sig but I knew it wouldn't work because of the rules):

Tom: "A local resident has knocked out a local broadcasting satellite and well since no one can see this ... I'm your Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I'm gonna go get drunk and beat up some midgets. Dianne..."

Dianne: "Well Tom, I just don't like black people"

Producer: "Guys, we're still on in Boston"

Every line is great in the show but one that stands out from watching the 1st season disk one today is when Peter is recieving communion.

Peter: Wow, is that really the blood of Christ?

Preacher: Yes, it is.

Peter: Holy crap, that guy must've been wasted 24 hours a day.

This is the best thread there has ever been on ASFN! That show is so funny and I have to say that I love the fact that they changed over to the girl from ''That 70's Show'' for Meg.

Favorite scene: I forget when it is but Peter ends up at the special olympics and some dude in a wheel chair says, '' Just like that time when I boom shalaka shalaka boom shalaka shalaka shalaka your wife'' in the computerized talking wheelchair voice.

So damn funny...

Family Guy Premieres on May 1
Source: Fox
January 17, 2005

Family Guy is back by popular demand with all-new episodes beginning Sunday, May 1 (9:00-9:30 PM ET/PT) on FOX, it was announced today by Gail Berman, President, Entertainment for the Fox Broadcasting Co.

Since its debut in 1999, the Emmy-nominated animated series has attracted an impressively loyal following of devoted fans and has sold over 3.5 million combined DVD units, making it the fourth-largest TV series seller ever.

Creator/executive producer Seth MacFarlane will continue to serve up the distinctively twisted and irreverently outrageous trials and tribulations of Peter Griffin (MacFarlane) and his not-quite-so-average family of middle-class New Englanders. Lois (Alex Borstein) is Peter's loving wife, who struggles to maintain a modicum of normalcy in their home life. Then there are their kids: angst-ridden, 16-year-old Meg (Mila Kunis), who only really wants to be noticed; 13-year-old Chris (Seth Green), a sweet-natured slacker; and 1-year-old Stewie (MacFarlane), a diabolically clever baby who's already bent on world domination. Rounding out the Griffin household is Brian (MacFarlane), the brainy family pooch who likes his martinis as dry as his Mighty Dog.

Family Guy is a 20th Century Fox Television production. Seth MacFarlane is creator/executive producer with David A. Goodman as executive producer/showrunner, and Chris Sheridan as executive producer.

love the family guy

bought the DVDs as they came out .... best stress reliever

just down right funny stuff

My favorite is when Brian is piddling everywhere and they blame stewie

classic scenes in that episode are when stewie slaps lois for making him a sandwich with cheap tuna, challenges peter to a duel, slams peters hand in the toilet seat, peter makes a reference about having beer to which stewie replies "maybe we could light up a doobie and watch porn"

and then when brian lets one go in the market and stewie lays into him

5/6 Family Guy

Anyone watch this episode? Meg gets a makeover and the family mimics the partridge family.

Anyway, the funniest thing ever in the history of TV happened in this episode. The rapper guy was talking to the family when Brian the dog just started barking horribly at him and he's like "Oh my god, I'm sorry I keep doing that.. I get it from my fathers side.. he's from a different generation"

I laughed for like 20 minutes after this.

that is all.

that was without a doubt the best Family Guy since it came back on the air - it was a classic episode.

But American Dad had the bigger laugh - between the little old lady spitting on the Lincoln Memorial and mouthing off about Lincoln being a slave-loving... to her description of a churro being a Mexican ******* donut - I was rolling.

Both of those shows we're freaking hilarious last night.

Oh - and the line where the daughter and hippie boyfriend walk in and the little kids say "Let's stone them!" only to be answered by the hippy, "Way ahead of you kid" was brilliant as well.

Did anyone watch tonights episode?
I was laughing out loud.
JFK Jr, Chevy Chase jokes. Stewie wondering about the progress of Brian's book.
Brian learning about the cold hard reality and heartbreak of Hollywood.

Classic stuff.

Mostly good (especially the JFK Jr. Joke). I did find Stewie's bits on Brian's book too long.

So tell me, is there still tread on those tires, or is it more like throwing a
hot dog down the hallway?

The way Stewie dragged it out is what I found especially funny.

Yes, I thought that was hillarious, especially since his voice kept getting higher in pitch...

They've already shown like 4 or 5 new episodes. It's pretty good, not overly fresh or funny as the first 2 seasons but still entertaining
