FSU is embroiled in the middle of a Federal Title IX investigation ( not investigating sexual assault by him according to guidelines ) and Jamebo (similar to Jimbo)doesn't get it.

Shooting up dorm windows, accused of rape, stealing and now jumping up in a lunchroom and yelling obscene things says stupid and thug to me.What`s Winston got to do to convince you?

Honestly didn't know about shooting into a dorm. Wow.

Nothing came off those rape allegations no matter how bad people wanted something to be there.

He stole crab legs from a grocery store let's not act like it was a home invasion.

The whole telling things seems like something a jr high kid would do.

I see stupid not a thug

He's a college kid, not even 21 yet. I did some very, very stupid things at the same age while in college, and I'd guess quite a few of us here have as well.

Russell Wilson 2.0

On the field maybe, off the field not even close. Wilson graduated from NC State in 3 years, while playing football and baseball. Then started his grad degree at NC State, wanted to play pro baseball and wound up at Wisconsin finishing up his degree.

The same was said of Tyrann Mathieu.

True but IMO there's a huge difference when the player is a QB, especially one who you're going to give a multi million dollar contract too.

Look at how he handled the Heisman stuff, his own dad admitted he got a swelled head, so did the father of his girlfriend(who he cheated on). then he shows up for the bowlgame well overweight. I read a story that said he was 22 pounds over his playing weight at some point before that game. 22 pounds in about 6 weeks for a 20 year old kid?

TM had issues and was a risk but nobody was going to hand him the keys to the franchise as a QB.

he and his roommates were questioned, they were his alibi, he was their alibi. And the police found the bb guns in their apartment. I think we can do the math. I think even UNC AFAM students can do the math on that one.

They were let off because they were athletes.

I think I can do the math that they were never arrested or charged no matter how badly people would want them to be.

He needs to be locked up for sure. I don't want someone like that terrorizing me with a BB gun or threatening me with naughty language. He's a freaking animal.

We're the most wussified culture. Reminds me of when we had to go to Spain for a week for work. We went to the beach and normal married dude's going ape**** over boobs, like they never saw them. Most of them weren't even worth looking at and half the women didn't even shave, but these fools go ape****. Like it's a scandal n ****. Cmon man.

We had this one woman with us, went the whole 9 to the beach, nails all done, makeup, everything...and people STARED.

We need to learn how to relax.

Because the owners of the building didn't want to press charges.

There's a difference between not being charged because you did nothing, and not being charged.

"Both Winston and his roommate at the time, defensive end Chris Casher, told officers the next day that they had been involved in a series of "battles" involving other FSU players that had been going on for a month. They denied shooting any BB guns themselves but said someone threw eggs at their window and shot at them with a paintball launcher.

Police found BBs littering the ground and saw windows in several apartments with small holes.

Police records show the apartment manager, Dave Sudekum, initially wanted to evict Winston and three other tenants but decided to not press charges after an FSU athletic department official promised that the players would pay for the damage.

Sudekum initially told a reporter this week that a previous management company had been involved. When told his name was on the report, he then said he couldn't remember the incident, which happened the day after FSU lost to Florida. Winston, a redshirt freshman this season, did not play in the game. FSU athletic department officials have not responded to emailed questions about the incident."

So they admit they were involved in the battles, the police found bb guns in their apartments, but they didn't shoot them? And the last part confirms they didn't press charges because FSU persuaded them not to.

Also if you actually read about the case Winston and his roommate were stopped by campus police, at gunpoint, because someone reported him on campus with a gun. It was a pellet gun, related to said battles, but Winston told police he used the gun to shoot squirrels on campus(which was also against the rules). So he's walking around campus with a pellet gun, any idea how many people get shot and killed by police because they think they have a weapon?

Famous Jameis has to do one thing. Thank FSU and tell them that in his and the school's best interest he is going to TRANSFER. Wish them the best but he feels that they'll both be better off with him playing for Nick Saban at Alabama.

Probably the best thing for Jameis. Should they lose to Clemson the light bulb in his head might actually turn on.

Wow. This guy is an idiot. He came out dressed in his full uniform for warmups before a game he is not allowed to play in at all. Head coach was NOT pleased and sent him back to the locker room. I don't think he will ever "get it."

Why would he transfer when he can declare for the draft after the season?

He should be benched next week also but he won't.

If I were a teammate and they happen to lose this game and cost them a shot at other shot at national championship, I'd organize a blanket party for him.

Edit. Well, Florida State won in overtime, but I'd still have the blanket party anyway.... But that's just me.

Florida St would've made the 4-team playoff regardless of what happened tonight. I think that's one of the reasons they suspended him. Remember with a panel of humans instead of computers they wouldn't punish them for a 1 loss without their best player.

who thinks J.Winston won`t screw several more times before the draft ? I think he will continue to screw up and he will keep getting slapped on the wrist .Of course the apologists will say its okay he`s just a college kid while JW swaggers around into his next misadventure.

Let it go

Again I don't care that he was let go because he clearly was LET go. It's pretty clear he was given special treatment, if you don't care fine, don't read threads that are clearly pointing out the kid has a problem.
