Got a little call from the Cardinals; invited me to go down on the field and be "honored" as a sample from the Season Ticket base.

Got to meet Micheal Bidwill, nice guy that knows how to work a crowd. Also got a free replica jersey signed by a Cardinal.

Anyway, the photos I took are all high - resolution, so i shrank one to share; I need a better photo conversion software.

Sounds like a great experience! Try imageshack for your photos, it will downsize the pixels so they dont take up the whole screen :)

awesome!!! I got to watch the Cards on the sidelines in Seattle when him & Mr B found out I came all the way from Dallas. Ownerships generosity to some of its fans sometimes goes unoticed... I will never forget that day as I'm sure you will not either Redheart, congrats!

I will give some credit to old man Bidwill. His dad was old fashioned and hence backwards in the modern age of this league which severely hampered this organization but with that being said. As owners go, the old man was always a nice guy and it seems from the actions of his son...he was a good parent and that is the highest importance of what a man should be judged by

Bill is a great old dude, but wasn't the ideal owner. I used to work Cards camp, and the old man was a nice as they come guy...kind of loopy...but super nice. But Mike makes decisions based on fielding a winning team, and that's what an owner should be all about. Glad to see that it stays in the family though.

this is also part of the NFL - post lockout, fan kiss & hug ...... every team has to do some kind of appreciation event .... sounds like you guys had a good one and it's nice that someone from this board got picked for it

one of the guys from the seahawks board was also lucky enough to get called .... during the last day of camp (before game #2) they handed like 80 people a # and then after practice players were calling out numbers .... you went to the player who called your # and got a signed jersey and then all the people hung out with the team for an hour or so after practice

for the preseason game they received a pair of club tickets and went on the field before the game and through intros

all pretty cool stuff ..... glad you had a blast
