He wore his jersey at times like that during training camp last year when he wasnt practicing due to another mysterious "hammy injury"

He was unhappy last year too. Just curious if he always wears it like that during stuff like this. I guess it really doesn't matter, just wondering.

That's Boldin's 3rd pro bowl jersey and he should have had another in 2005 when he averaged 100+ yards per game receiving. Maybe more Cardinal players need to have "hammy injuries" in TC.

I was wondering if anyone else thought Alan Branch looks like he was in better shape? Looks like he dropped some pounds to me.

Boldin founded the Anquan Boldin Foundation during his NFL sophomore season. The foundation is dedicated to expanding the educational and life opportunities of underprivileged children.

“Anquan is a hard-nosed player that is dedicated to his craft, but when he steps out of the uniform, Anquan is a very down to earth gentleman who enjoys being around young kids and helping them,” said Walter Peoples, a coordinator of the 3rd Annual Anquan Boldin Foundation Dinner. “He helps point kids in the right direction and gives them the praise they need. Sometimes all a kid needs is a kind word to decide which way to go and Anquan is there for them. He is a very down to earth guy who understands where he came from.”

“I feel that I’m in a position to give back,” said Boldin. “God has blessed me with so much, so I just want to give back. It is important to me because we are raising money for a good cause. All of the donations go to underprivileged kids in the Phoenix area and the area I grew up in, back home in Florida.”

Thanks for sharing the pictures. Its almost like being there.

I did notice how big H Johnson and Keith both are. Big boys for sure.

Lutui looked big, but big like out of shape?

Great shots. I made the decision to go after a meeting I had to attend so all I had with me was my lousy phone camera. So of course since I was not prepared I ended up standing in a place where I could have gotten some great shots. (Isn't that the way it always works?)

I was right on the fence near the autograph area so all the players walked right past me to get to the practice field. Got a couple of high fives. Also a hello from Michael B. Looked over and there was Mr. Bidwill senior signing autographs for a couple of kids so I went over and shook his hand. He came across as sweet and personable. (Maybe because I saw my Dad at the same age.) We chatted a bit and I think he actually would have enjoyed a longer conversation, but I didn't want to intrude. I think he was really enjoying himself.

But thanks for posting your shots. Loved them.

Leinart wins the award for the most unfortunate placement for a dangling sock or whatever that thing is... lol

Yotes, you let me down, man. No pictures of cheerleaders. Not one.

Another thing. Fashion thing. Been bugging me for years. Ugly baggy pants going to the knees or below are not shorts. They are an ugly nonsensical faddish facsimile of shorts. Have any of you ever seen a good looking woman wearing anything like that at the mall? While jogging? Doing aerobics? At the gym?

Didn't think so. Women aren't so fashion stupid as to cause unnecessary sweating.

The purpose to wearing shorts is to wear less hot and constrictive clothing, bearing more of the body to cooling by air. Shorts should be shorts. What those players are wearing for workout pants are dumb. More fashion than utility.

If they're comfortable in them, then why not. I'd think they're more comfortable than wearing 70's NBA shorts. Or was that a fad?

I'm surprised to see Warner participating this early. I thought they said he wouldn't be ready until the end of May?

Great pic's posted in this thread. I'm continually jealous of you'se that get to attend these things. Thanks for sharing. Now, on to the link...:)

Edit: Whew! That's a lot of pic's! Looking at the shots of Wells next to Hightower sort of illustrates a 1st vs. a 5th. Hightower looks impressive enough but Wells is just that nicer model. What's with Palko taking snaps and no St. Pierre at all? Wouldn't it be nice if the #3 QB spot was the biggest concern in 2009?

He tookmoff quite a bit of wait...I just hope he didn't loose the string to the light bulb because when that...or if that goes on, we have a winner.

OK as long as we're talking fashion. Some of the ladies who were there yesterday were discussing these shorts. Mostly concerning how they looked on Fitz. There was 100% agreement, among the women, that he should have been wearing his uniform pants. Which are, uh... tighter.

Skkorp, you are 100% dead wrong on this. (Wow 2 days and 2 disagreements with my favorite posters).

Nylon shorts are super-comfortable, extremely light, have tons of small holes for breathability and in many cases very cheap. They are about as less constrictive as you can get. (You can get good nylon shorts at target for under $10)

I have 7-8 pairs of them, and when I telecommute (2-3 days/week) I wear a t-shirt and nylon shorts to the knees.

If the cheerleaders wore them, I may have an issue, but I have no desire to see football players in John Stockton nutters.

Now I'm off to the team shop to see if I can get a pair of these!
