Very interesting! Thanks for posting that 82.

And I'd like to thank Michael for confirming what I've been saying for years :p.... Larry will retire a Cardinal and see his name on the ROH. Which is awesome. Lar-ry! Lar-ry! Lar-ry!

I dont see that at all. Fitz talks up the me me me stuff but he learned about 2 years in how to lead. First by example, and now by voice. Larry is creating a perception that at least publicly has never been the case.

Also the last two years have been overblown. He just needed a QB. The entire TEAMS passion went out the door when Lindley and even Stanton came in.

People dont get that football is an emotional game and the QB puts WRs and Defense in bad positions if they suck. Oh yeah the defense just got really bad at the end of the season. Nothing to do with Lindley and how they were playing like a contender with the franchise under center but shrivelled up when he went down.

Its not that tough. I dont know why everyone thinks they can look at this stuff independently in a vacum and make sweeping genealizations. Did Todd Bowles get dumb all of a sudden? Did Fitz forget how to be passionate and play hard and make routine catches?

Its real life. If you are a superstar, but work in a terrible company eventually you get dragged down to the mean. And vice versa.

Larry himself said this off-season he had a long conversation with Hynes Ward about what is being asked of him in this offense, and that he took from that a better understanding of it.

He had an elite QB for the first 9 games last season, yet his production was nowhere near to what it's been these first 3 games. I think he just understands and has accepted his role now.

That's not a change in attitude... It's learning from a HoFer at the slot position.

The game that Palmer was hurt last season, Fitz had his best game of the season. He & Palmer (and BA), were just finding their rhythm...
