love it. I'm excited about the kid. He seems to have a good deal of talent, and is hungry. His preseason on STs has been beyond impressive already. It's nice that he is so good on STs that he can take his time developing into a safety

only if we can throw in a draft pick and we get a backup QB that's made of glass that we can sign for big $$$ :D

I seem to be in the minority on this board, but I love Rhodes. I think Johnson has been making great strides too. If Bethel can develop well, we'll have a VERY good, VERY young D. It's pretty exciting to see hope for the future, that actually has real proof

I love Rhodes too.

Bethel is a phenom on special teams.

I can not WAIT to see him on one side, Peterson on the other and CC coming up the middle. People are going to be scared to kick against us...

The thing is, despite not coming from a complex defense, he is going to learn quickly. Presbyterian is no slouch of a school when it comes to academics. He already knows how to learn, and will learn quickly. I am guessing he is eventually going to be Rhodes replacement, though not as fast as Mitch predicted.

This is exactly what has me pumped!!!!

Add in that Adub has blocked some kicks and what does the opposition do????

Some kickers in the NFL will shank punts and FG's just because they are worried about the Cards kick blocking prowess.

Spencer has the talent to set an NFL record for blocked kicks.

This is a kid I really want to see make it. Heart, ability and smarts.

And Cardiac, the thought of teams being afraid of us is just soooo cool.

I can absolutely get behind this team being the Bird Gang that people start talking about. Woowee that would be fun.

We all know that the "people" are always a bit behind in talking about the Cards but I think we saw some evidence of teams being afraid of us last season. CC has kickers peeing themselves as we saw Jenarapsi and others miss easy field goals.

Let's add PP into punt returns and now we have teams freaking out about our St's.

2 for flinching, 5 yards per false start, this unit is really going to be in the heads of the teams we face this year. Bethel jumps like a track star, you have to rewind it to make sure he wasn't offsides. The scab refs might have missed some calls in the game, I hope the legit refs call it right because Bethel does wait for the snap and then B-O-O-M
