Dang! They are putting together a good team. Getting Foles was an AMAZING move for them. Clearing 12 million cap and getting a MUCH better QB. Damn Eagles!
"MUCH better" what?
Before we start to worry, Fairley is a near bust who never met expectations. He's been off the field quite a bit and I'm not even certain he played in 1/2 of the Lions games last year. They cut him for a reason.
Dos that really even help them??? Their DL was already scary???
Foles is much better than Bradford, who was a hot mess. Foles is a warm mess.
Thinking about this some more---I wonder if they're gonna flip one of them in a trade.

Please please please let them trade Donald!

^ Bradford was on the injured reserve list all of last year after a second ACL tear on the same knee happened in the third preseason game.
Hard to say. Let's look at their numbers last year.
7 games 159/262 60.7%, 1687 yards, 6.44 YPA, 14 TD, 4 INT, 2 FUM, 90.9 Rating
8 games 186/311 59.8%, 2163 yards, 6.96 YPA, 13 TD, 10 INT, 3 FUM, 81.4 Rating
Who had the better year?
First one is Bradford second if Foles. I'd say the numbers are pretty similar with the edge to Bradford and Foles had better weapons.
“Right now I’m at 280,” Fairley said, via the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. “Now that I’m down here I’m gonna be looking for [a personal chef] here.”
Fairley said he’ll weigh more than 280 by the time the season starts.
“I’m gonna put on some muscle, of course,” he said.
The Rams gave Fairley a one-year, $5 million contract that can pay him an additional $3 million in incentives. So if Fairley is injured or out of shape, he’ll make less than he would have made if the Lions had picked up the $5.5 million option on his rookie contract.
