If the Cardinals hire Jim Fassel, as many on this board believe, then here is a list of the potential coaches that will probably serve as his assistants:

Johnnie Lynn-Defensive Coordinator/Assistant H.C.
John Fassel-QB coach (currently head coach NM Highlands)
Denny Marcin-DL coach
Bruce Read-Special Teams
Jim McNally-OL coach
Jimmy Robinson-WR coach
John Dunn-Strength coach
Craig Stoddard-LB coach

Most of the coaches have a long relationship with Fassel and are natural additions to his staff here in Arizona.

I would imagine Sullivan would be toast, unless he is willing to take a lesser role in the offense.

if there is one coach we might keep..it would be tolbert. He was only here one season..and he is the guy who insisted we draft boldin. I would think the rest would be let go..we hired another coach or two last season - not sure if they would be retained - one is the assistant defensive line coach...

I would think jerry sullivan would go and be a receiver coach somewhere else..from what I understand he was ready to leave and join tuna for a lateral move this past offseason..doubt if he would have an interest in staying here and taking a demotion from OC..but he would probably do it for a different team..

Bruce Read may be the worst special teams coach in NFL history. Don't believe me? Just look at the Giants special teams over the past few years. They were terrible.

I forget who said it but a great plan would be to let sully go to another team and then trade them gilmore.

Since Gilmore obviously has some blackmail on sully we may get a 1st rounder for him!!!

swd...that was me...Trade him to sullys team for a fifth or sixth round pick or something...that way we free up his spot, will not have to honor the rest of his contract...if we have a 7th for foster...in theory sullivan thinks more of gilmore because foster was cut and gilmore was given a contract extension...so he should be worth (to sullivan anyway) a little more than foster (who used to play for sullivan in detroit)...
