With the retirement of Adrian Wilson, what was your favorite moment with Wilson in a Cardinals jersey?

Personally, I always loved him just destroying Trent Edwards against the Bills in our Superbowl year. There are so many other plays that I can think of but I always loved when he had a jarring hit on a QB.

The hit on Knowshawn Moreno or Brian Westbrook or Todd Heap or Troy Edwards or Eric Johnson.

Just ridiculous.

NFC Championship---the whole game and then A-Dub's "tears of joy" interview after the game. He indeed was a key player who helped change the culture in AZ. I love A-Dub and always will. Happy to learn he is heading into the Ring of Honor this year and that he will become a part of the organization moving forward.

This it IT.

I loved the way he played the game, how he exploded on players when making a hit. The passion he played with.

And him being one of the key factors in turning the Cardinals from the butt of jokes into a respected organization!

What?
Hard to pick one but yeah after the NFC championship game. And with this my last relevant jersey with an active player is gone. Dang it.

When Polamalu got his new deal in the 2007 offseason and Wilson cut his vacation short.

Talk about a shutdown safety. Wilson shut down his vacation four days into a planned 17-day retreat and returned home in a bid to raise his game and finally reach the playoffs this season in Arizona.

"I cut the vacation short because I felt like I wasn't getting any better," Wilson says. "So we packed up and got back on the plane. I have the rest of my life to take a vacation. Alicia is a good wife, and she understands what I want to accomplish in my career."

So glad he made it all the way to the SB the next season. Now there'll be time for a nice long vacation.

Forgotten in the NFC championship was his crushing, fumble causing hit on McNabb to start the second half. Dude was a QB nightmare. Whenever a QB dropped back against the Cardinals, the QB made sure he knew where 24 was, or he paid the price.

Spoke to me at a Draft Party

When I was just starting to talk to players for Skorp, Adrian was one of the very first. It was at a Draft Party (many players were there, signing jerseys and stuff).

Asking about their hopes and dreams, (while shoving a stupid recorder at them), most said 'Super Bowl' without any thought. It was the stock answer.

Adrian actually seemed to think about it -- and said, "I want to be the best I can be. Maybe go to the Pro Bowl. Yes, I want to go to Pro Bowls." It was a real, from the heart, answer.

Never complained about the team -- and they were a bad team back then. Never wanted out, never hoped to go to greener pastures. And never made the news with 'off the field issues.'

A truly great player -- in every possible way. One of the greatest.

Playing a full season with a torn bicep was pretty bad ass in my opinion.
