I specifically said "HOMEMADE"...ugh. You people. :bang:

:D

You can't have the thread title be "favorite cookie" and then try and sneak in "homemade" just in the poll title.

I'm calling homeland security this seems like a terrorist plot to confuse the masses. (or at least ASFNers) ;)

Those buttery oatmeal raisin cookies. Holy smokes. But to be honest, almost nothing tops a fresh made butter cookie.

For homemade I'll go regular chocolate chip cookies.

For store bought I think they're called pinwheels, the round marshmallow on a cookie all covered in chocolate cookies?

White Chocolate Macadamia are the cookies of the Gods.

Yep. These are my favorite cookies as well.

Soft Batch cookies are the best chocolate chip cookies.

My wife makes great cookies at Christmas.

Chocolate crinkles are probably my favorite.

I've never heard of those before (chocolate crinkles). They look awesome & tasty! I'm guessing that has to be a bit of a softer dough...hmmm....

They are more of a semi-sweet chocolate and a thicker dough.

They are rolled up in a little ball, covered in powdered sugar, and then baked. As they bake they flatten out and get the cracks in the powdered sugar covered outside.

semi-sweet? Interesting...I was picturing mostly cocoa to make 'em chocolate... I figured that was powdered sugar. Damn, they still look good, though.

I may make some tonight.

I make toll house cookies, and then I cut them and freeze them. Frozen toll house bars are my favorite. Why wasnt that on the list?

Lemon Bars are not a cookie!

If you're gonna add Lemon Bar you might as well add Pumpkin Pie.

lol...at the time, this thread was made because I owed Donald a HUGE thank you for a favor he did, and I was secretly trying to find out what his favorite cookie is.

It's actually come in quite handy since then.

I voted for other, but said White Chocolate Macadamia in the thread. I will stick with my vote of 'Other' and go way out in left field with fortune.

I could eat fortune cookies all day long.

We are discussing COOKies, not FROZENies.

Cooked cookies should prolly at least be thawed.

NOTE: Fig cookies can be good while still frozen.

You completely bash your own point by adding that note. Dummy. If fig cookies can be good frozen, why the hell couldnt toll house bars???

Is it no longer a cookie if its been frozen? Doesnt something physiologically happen to the cookie to make it something else once it hits the icebox?

You sir, are incorrect.

Are tollhouse cooked then frozen? That is what I meant. I think.

DCR only like fortune cookies because they are kinda free, sorta.

No politics in food forum. People complain.
