Please list your top 5 sandwiches for me and then ask yourself if the best sandwiches are hot or cold.

My all time favorite sandwiches in order:

1. Portillo's Italian Beef and Sausage Combo
2. Cubano
3. Chicken Parm
4. Philly Cheesesteak
5. Smoked turkey breast

4 out of 5 and my top 4 are all served hot. What are your favorites?

Is everything
Please list your top 5 sandwiches

It's tough because where you get the sandwich makes a lot of difference, or if you make it at home.

1. Philly Cheesesteak (Beef or Chicken)
2. Rueben
3. Banh Mi
4. Lobster Roll
5. Louisiana Po' Boy

Honorable mentions: Panini piled high and well-pressed, Grilled Ham and Cheese with cheese melting all over the place, anything from Potbelly's

Just assume the best place to get the sandwich, is where you got it from.

I can't believe I am Creole and I forgot about the Po' Boy. That is definitely in my top 10 and probably 6.

Not really sure why anyone likes Cubano. Just a variation of basic ham n cheese. They kinda suck :)

1. A real Philly Cheese with Whiz
2. Hot Italian extra vinegar and oil
3. Reuben
4. Tuna Melt
5. 3-5 cheese extra gooey Grilled Cheese

6. Lobster Roll

I'm agreeing with this list except substitute chunky pb with grape jelly instead of the tuna melt.

I like meatball, but chicken parm is superior

Not ranked and not much thought

Cheese steak
Cherry St Tavern Roast Beef w/horseradish (their roast pork is no joke either)
Chicken Parm
Buffalo Chicken Sandwich
Grilled ham & cheese

I love Cuban sandwiches as well
A classic Italian sub/hoagie
Half pastrami/corned beef
Ham & Swiss on marble rye

I've spent too much time living in areas with fantastic, simple sandwiches

Too many good options

Definitely grilled cheese #1.

Have to say I think my sandwich taste is skewed by my childhood. My mom was British so in school I used to regularly have cheese and marmite sandwiches, cheese and pickle relish sandwiches, the occasional cucumber sandwiches, and the always good brown sugar sandwich which was 2 pieces of buttered bread with brown sugar in the middle.

A good hot roast beef like the #7 at Togo's is great too.

Oh, I miss Togo's.
Grilled cheese is religious. BUT you have to cut them diagonally. It's in the bible.

There's a place near me in Bethlehem that makes these huge garlic knots, like sandwich size. So warm and light. And they make garlic knot chicken parm and garlic knot meatball sandwiches. So good.

1. Authentic NYC deli corned beef piled high on Rye
2. Classic steak sandwich with crisp lettuce, onion, and tomato.
3. Milanesa torta
4. Classic bacon, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich. Eggs over medium. American cheese.
5. Italian sub with mortadella, capicola, italian ham. Then all the oil/vinegar, seasoning, provalone, lettuce and tomato.

Now im starving.
