With recent nerd type postings, this thread seems appropriate.

I predict this will come down to a battle between the Star Treks, Babylon 5, and Stargate. Personally, I have only seen the pilot of Babylon 5 and the first few episodes of Stargate, so I guess I prefer the Star Trek universe. I also really liked Space Above and Beyond even though it only lasted one season.

I limited the poll to more recent shows and excluded shows that might be considered more as fantasy than sci-fi, such as: Angel, Buffy, Dark Angel, Highlander, Jeremiah (good show), Millennium, Prisoner, Quantum Leap, Roswell, seaQuest DSV, Seven Days, Sliders, and X-Files.

I had to go with Space: Above and Beyond. LOVED that show and I hope it comes out on DVD.

BG actually has a lot of the same feel to it, which is nice.

I voted Star Trek: TNG

I haven't seen many of the shows on the list, with the exception of a few eps of Deep Space Nine and Voyager.

All I know is, Space: Above and Beyond was the baby of Glen Morgan and James Wong of X-Files fame

LOLOL!!

I guess so. Hell, I was a kid and she wore a skintight uniform. I wasn't paying attention to names!

What was that hot Draconian princess' name?? (see how I did the apostrophe, DBack?)

I am going to go with "V", which wasn't listed. The two part mini-series was incredible... the series was a let down but watchable

Edit: I was like 7 or 8 when the miniseries was on.... If I watched it today it would probably be hokey and stupid, but I liked it.

I appreciate the fact that Firefly made the list!
You're the only one that's voted for it  I watched the pilot and was not that impressed. I can get the eps off my LAN, so maybe I'll give it a second look.

I considered adding it, but didn't think it would get any votes. (plus I've never seen it)

Tie between Anna Nicole or Simple Life.
Wrong category. Those shows are horror not sci-fi.

Since I didnt see the Twilight Zone on the list i voted ST:TOS.

Anyone catch the Riverworld movie? I loved the books, the movie was ok. I was kind of hoping they would make a series out of the movie on the SciFi channel. With the premise that everyone who ever lived is resurrected, the storylines would be limitless.
