I’m anxious to see if they can stay focused against their lesser opponents or if they’ll get caught up in press clipping’s syndrome. The should get 9 wins easily with 10 or 11 not out of the picture.

I was thinking about

with the progress the team has made on offense, defense and special teams, if we had those four team losses later in the season do we lose any of them?

This team might be better than we are thinking. I can’t get this thought out of my head.

This is probably helping the defense too. Cards have a lot of long drives and ball control. Jets only had 6 drives on Sunday. Keeps the defense fresher and opponents less opportunities to score.
Absolutely. It kind of lends to the style of offense we play.
However, sooner or later defenses are going to move 8 in the box to stop this lethal running game. When that happens will we be able to take advantage of deeper open spaces?

Double edge sword. The Bills are better now and the same could be said of the Lions.
That’s why I think we have to reel it in a little bit. When the Bears came here many were saying “ They haven’t played anybody”.
This defensive surge came against the Chargers, Bears and Jets. All teams looked at as teams with less than stellar offenses.

The Chargers have gotten their offense going since we played them. Admittedly against bottom feeding teams, but they should look good against teams like that and they have.
