During the year, I found Femi to remind me of Larry Centers a lot. Though, not the player Centers was, he is very underated as FBs go. The plays he made during the season...making a guy miss and getting a first down on a pass...made me almost see a #37 on him.

In total agreement! Maybe if they used him more he'd become more like Centers.

Not me, using him more takes away touches down the field from Fitz and Boldin. If he is option 4 or 5 in our offense I would be happy.

Good point JG, he eapecially favored Larry catching passes out of the backfield. He runs hard. I'm a big Femi fan.

He's one of those guys that you never let go of. What's his contract status?

joe says that he's an unrestricted free agent. I'd rather keep him then the way-overrated Fred Beasley, who will be a fetish on this board come March.

Odd that we didn't find a way to re-sign 'Femi during the season.

It will be a mistake if they let him go.

I've never understood why they don't try to get him 5-6 passes every game. He is an excellent check down reciever and the Cards have been wasting his talents abit as far as I am concerned...

 He was clutch in a few games this past season. Plus he ****ing hates the Rams, as he said on "Mic'd Up."

That's always a plus for any player.

While I like Femi as a player, he isn't half the threat Larry was. He has heart thats for sure, but the two don't compare. Larry was basically the entire 3rd down offense for us for a couple years. Femi couldn't do that if he tried.

Agreed. Femi plays hard but is nowhere near as talented as Centers. Centers' ability to break tackles and get the first down is probably my favorite memory of the Cards. Also Femi gets buried trying to lead block almost every time. Centers wasn't great, but nowhere near as poor as Femi in that category.

I really wish Hodgins was healthy this season, every year it seems like he's going to make an impact, and he gets hurt. Given the current state of the offense, I'd much rather have a hard-hitting, power FB to improve the running game.
