Do yourself a favor and pick up this game when it comes out in Oct.

I just DL the demo yesterday, and this is quite possibly the best sports game ive ever played. (Waaay better than any Madden)

I actually enjoy soccer games. The AI never seems to 'get it right' though. A bit like hockey where it is either a 0-0 game, or a 7-6 game.

I read some reviews of FIFA 08 which drove me to buy Pro Evolution Soccer. I will be downloading this demo though and giving it a shot. Everything that was griped about should have been easy to fix, so I hope they made the fixes.

I liked 08 way better than PES.

Thing i love about it is that theres ALWAYS someone online to play against. lol

EA has really gotten their act together over the last year or so. NCAA Football has improved so much over the last two years, as has Madden, and the IGN wasn't lying when they called NHL 09 one of the best sports games of the entire decade (Give the demo a try even if you don't watch the NHL, I have friends who love playing the game despite not caring one bit about hockey). FIFA has made great strides over the last couple years, 09 looks like it is going to be a real sharp game. Just firing up the demo it was clear how much better flow the game play has over FIFA 08.
