I agree, Jeff. I not only want to keep this guy, I want us to play him. Keep Hyphen fresh for STs and occasional touches on offense.

How is Hyphen NOT fresh? The guy barely gets any touches on offense.

Would you rather play Powell than Wells? Over Ryan Williams? Over LSH? I don't think so. If Powell aka "flavor of the month" makes the roster, he will likely be a game day inactive any way.

Powell will get claimed if released. I keep him on the roster. I agree with rest of roster, and I want Bradley to start at olb over schofield.

I wouldn't; the question you must ask yourself: would you rather play Schofield or Paris Lenon? Lenon is a nice lockerroom guy and backup player, but c'mon, haven't we moved past the point that we have to continually watch Lenon get beat physically?

And plus, Bradley has finally learned the defense, why do we want to move a guy who struggled learning one position in the defense. And finally I doubt he would be more effective rushing the passer.

If I where running the show, Lenon would be on the bubble.

But I don't see the Cardinals cutting Lenon.

Respectfully disagree. He's looked better than any of our RB's in presaeason, and in terms of vision, cutting and second effort reminds me of a poor man's Barry Sanders.

Sometimes you gotta have to forget whether or not a player was drafted and just go with what your eyeballs tell you. Powell showed me a lot.

2nd this. Powell is a player and should make the roster.

IMO you guys are kidding yourselves on Powell.

He's a marginal end of the roster kind of guy, who had big games against guys who will be working at McDonalds a month from now.

Muffin-----I believe that the biggest need for this team is to (develop) a QB. Warner was the only QB on this roster since Whiz has been here that didn't need to be developed. He was strong enough mentally to take the licking and keep on ticking while running Whiz' offense. St.Pierre, Hollywood, D-Wreck, Moxie, Skelton, Bartel, Kolb, and thusfar, Lindley have not proven to be successful developmental QB's in Whiz' system. In addition, St. Pierre, who Whiz brought in from Pitt, was the ONLY one he has shown any confidence in. I believe the problem is with our coaching and our choice of offense.

We have not shown a lot of confidence in running backs either during this period. I am still not sure that Whiz' benching of Edge during the mid-season was because he really wanted to save him for the SB run, or because he wanted to see what he had in THT. Anyway, THT was never made to feel confident after James SB run, and was jerked every time he fumbled, (hardly a way to show confidence in a back). Likewise, Beanie was never shown a lot of confidence either after THT was gone, though he did play a lot last year when his only real back-up was Hyphen, who was not strong enough to back-up all season, or even to play a whole game. Again, this seems like it might be poor handling by the offensive heighrarchy, of Whiz and Grimm.

Just my opinion.
