AZ where'd you hear that the DE was Edge's assignment? I thought that was totally Ross's job to be taking on DE's. Makes no sense to me if true.
Check Kruczek's press conference notes. It's there. Also, there's another thread discussing this in depth.

Shane,

That game, even though it was a loss at the end, made this year's season's tickets worth every penny. I really agree with every thing you said. I know the Bears fans in our section were a little freaked by how intense we were. I KNOW they were not expecting that!

I'm already looking forward to Dallas. Are you going to that one?

No way. That crowd was easily dominated by cards fans. 10,000 Bears fans is still a lot. Especially when you are walking out at the end when they won. Obnoxious SOB's!

I wish I sat where you were sitting. I was in section 440, row 21, and the entire section was full of Bears fans. It was ridiculous. I had to climb seats to give high fives to other Cardinal fans during the game. But, even from where I was sitting, amongst all the Bears fans, the noise was almost earsplitting when Cardinal fans cheered. Saw a lot of white towells.

I was a little concerned about the Bear fan turnout when I was walking in and when the Bears came out --

but then when the Cardinals were introduced -- I also saw a ton of white towels.

At the absolute very, very most -- I would say that it was 80/20 Cardinal fans relative to Bear fans

Youwouldn't have known it looking at MNF.

All trough the intros the only fans their cameras seemed to find were Bears fansd and that was the story they had already predecided to tell. That being the place was full of Bears fans.

Yes I finnaly got he courage up to watch the game on Tivo, well at least the first half.

YUP....MNF losers. I found a camera man after the game and laid into him about what I thought. I heard from a friend that the entire broadcast was a slap in Cards fans faces.

Watching it live I didn't get that impression at all.

They were talking up the Bears but I saw mostly Cards fans on camera.

The Bears fans were not that noticeable, at least not until after the game. I see opposing fans and fans with other teams jerseys (than the two that are playing) every week on MNF.

At the beginning of the game they were showing all kinds of bear fans...that stopped quick as the stadium began rocking and was LOUD. First thing I noticed when I got home and rewatched the game.

Thats what I saw as well. Seemed like the network made a point to show a bunch of BEar fans in the beginning but later changed.

Upset aside - I agree that Eric Green was an absolute stud. He made a name for himself last Monday.

We were standing in line to get into the Team Shop before the game when a MNF camera crew came walking up. The majority of the people in line were Card fans. The crew waited until this huge, loud, and very inebriated Bear's fan came waddling up to the line to turn on their lights and camera. I turned to my wife and said, "Any guess as to what MNF's slant is going to be on this game?"

Yeah I didn't get that impression either. The majority of the camera shots were of Cards fans and rightfully so!

I think most of us were pleasantly surprised to see that there was NOT as many Bear fans as we all thought there would be. I know I thought there would be at least 20,000. Thank God there was only half of that.
