The Lakers have done more for African villages than any other team, I believe. With 33 Finals appearances, we have only won 17 titles. So 16 villages were outfitted in those losing years.

Ha. I have been to those villages and have seen a lot of NBA merch on kids and grandpas alike. However, I have never seen any false champion merch anywhere. Just my anecdotal observations. I think they destroy that stuff or it ends up as rags in someone's garage.
