Wow - very good movie. Johnny Depp and Kate Winslet were very good in this movie. Then there was British actor Freddie Highmore who played Peter Davies - that kid stole the show. He was awesome - very believable. He's also paired up with Depp in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

Movie was good enough that it's prompted me to want to read the book it was based on.

Finding Neverland

Plot: Director Marc Forster's follow-up to MONSTER'S BALL is FINDING NEVERLAND (previously known as J.M. BARRIE’S NEVERLAND), a tale of magic and fantasy inspired by the life of James Barrie, the real-life author of the children’s classic Peter Pan. Set in London in 1904, the film follows Barrie’s creative journey to bring Peter Pan to life, from his first inspiration for the story up until the play’s premiere at the Duke of York’s Theatre - a night that will change not only Barrie’s own life, but the lives of everyone close to him.

Cast: Johnny Depp, Kate Winslet, Julie Christie, Radha Mitchell, Dustin Hoffman.

I dunno why but Peter Pan creeped me out as a kid and even to this day. Maybe because he hung out with lil kids and had a fairy with him. Come to think of it, no wonder Michael Jackson named his ranch Neverland.

We ordered this on PPV last night. It was such a touching story! The amazing imagination that it took to dream up a place called Neverland!!!

It was so sad that James sacrificed his marriage to create the Peter Pan story, and fell in love with Sylvia just to lose her too!

I was bawling my eyes out when he told her at the end, "that's Neverland", and then she was gone.
