He was absolutely brilliant in Closet Land, one of my favorite movies of all time.

He played a sadistic authoritarian interrogating Madelyn Stowe.

Oh yeah... Forgot about Galaxy Quest. Great freaking movie and another fantastic performance.

This is really a bummer. Rickman was such an incredible talent with range to pull off any kind of role.
